Be still and wait...

It is early in the morning. The world is about to wake up. The day will demand situations and decisions. It is now in the middle of silence and stillness, when I hear the voice of God. The one that will help me go through this day, no matter how it goes. I know He is in control of every part of my life. This is when I wait for His sweet voice to whisper as I drink a cup of coffe. God will bring comfort to my heart as this day unfolds, I will patiently wait on Him.

The key of a better life!

Sometimes we avoid God's perfect plan for us. Our wrong decisions will shape the way we live. Do we want to live defeated and without purpose? Everytime God convicts our wrong behaviours, instead of trying to figure it out ourselves. We should listen to Him and turn into the right direction. We need to learn from our difficult times, and keep a positive mind about who we are. It is only then, when we'll find the key to live a more happy life.

Believe you can

When God give us a dream or vision in our hearts, when He opens the doors of opportunity, do you pray and have faith? expecting the best in your life, knowing that you are able do what God wants you to do? Or do you think this is just to big for me. I can't do it. I am not good enough. It is not for me.
God want us to step out of the boat and start thinking big! When we have faith we can do everything....

Learning something everyday.

Every friday morning, I go to a women's Bible study that is hosted by a wonderful woman, that not only teach us the word of God, but help us to realize that life is constanly teaching us an important lesson, as we walk through good and bad experiences. Last friday, there was a woman that shared something very interesting about her life, that help many of us to realized that we have a great purpose in life. She was the executive director of an important organization and many times appeared in local magazines for participating in certain community activities. There was an emptiness within her, that she couldn't explain each time she went back home. Everything she was doing was to pleased her own desires, and obtain a title in society, leading her to emptiness and depression for so many years. It was not until she looked up, and discover the real purpose of her life. Lauren begun using her talents to really help other people that needed her, without recognition, nor expecting anything from anybody. Now the only recognition she wants in her life is from the one who set her free...

We are all different..

I work at Eterna Bella Spa, a women's spa, where I have the opportunity to know many women that come to relax and be pampered, there is always a story for every one of them. I had find out that all of us connect somehow, no matter our ages, or status or looks, there is always something we had lived that thought us an important lesson in life.

When we open up and encourage each other in honesty we can see that all of us at some point share difficult situacions, and at some point had make us stronger. We all have hopes and dreams to acomplish so why not to encourage one another to be the best that God has created us to be....

The purpose of life

Many times we think that bad situations are never going to end, or even worst don't know how we could possibly get out of it. I realized that those situations are the ones that make us stronger and help us to understand the real purpose of life . No matter how difficult or imposible might be, there is always a light at the end of the tunnel, and more importantly a lesson to learn.

The greatest Master

I would like to start talking about wild horses; wild horses have the freedom to run unloose, can't be touch and don't have a master until it is found. Monica's life reminds me of this type of horses, and I'll tell you why. She is a dear friend of mine that in her life journey have teach me so much about the purpose of life. Monica is a 38 year old woman from Venezuela that came to this country 8 years ago, full of expectations, dreams and hopes. She met who she thought would be the man of her life and married him . After a few months of knowing this man she was warned many times not only by friends but most importantly by her heart not to marry him; but she ignored the signs and did it anyway, not knowing that her journey had begun. Monica did not know anything about this culture and was introuduced through her husband that did not treat her right as soon they got married. Monica did not speak english, did not know how to drive, and did not have family or friends to talk to, confined into a big cold house. Little by little her soul begun to die, leading her to an awful depression for many years to the point where almost take her life away, nothing made sense and lonliness was her only friend. After a year of marriage she thought that having a baby would connect her with her husband and moreover someone to love and talk to. She had a beautiful healthy baby girl, but still her heart continued feeling empty and desperate. One day laying on her bed, middle of the day, numb of life, crying and asking herself why; she heard this powerful and fulfilling voice that talked directly to her heart transforming her life in a minute. The voice told her "Get up and pray, for I am with you" inmediately she felt an overwelming peace that went to her deepest soul and spirit. She found something to connect to and more importantly understood what she was going through; so she begun to pray asking for help, for peace and happiness.. This was her turning point, she discovered many talents that were trap inside of her and were waiting to be exposed. God begun a process of healing and deliverance. A precious jewell that needed to be polish. She couldn't wake up one day without praying and thanking God for giving her life, peace, joy and hope; Monica had found her Master the one who fulfilled her with love and encourage her every minute to acomplish her great purpose in life. Now days, monica owns her business, she is a Gym dance instructor and also teaches young people at her church. She found her beauty in the middle of ashes, we all have a purpose in life, no matter how ugly our surroundings might be, find the Master and let Him transform you...

The beauty that lives in you

As women, many times we let our appearances or circuntances determine who we are, defeating the natural purpose 0f beauty that lives within us.
we are constanly asking ourselves, should I wear this or that? Is my hair to dry?do I look good?, Is my makeup okay? did I gain weight?.. just to fullfill the need to feel beautiful.
We discover true beauty when we realized our talents and gifts that God has placed inside of us, and I would like to share with you the different experiences women around me had go through, leading them to discover beauty in the middle of ashes.
